I’m using this in a Ford Super Duty and a Garmin 1090 gps (not small!) and it was rock solid on a recent 3800 mile trip. Easy to get aligned and installed and was very stable.

Takes some playing with to get it exactly how you want it, but stays solidly in place while holding my phone while riding my motorcycle.

Awesome setup for an extension. Great quality. I pad seems a bit heavy with the length of this arm but still does a great job.

I knew that this Ram system had a great reputation, but a little hesitant due to cost, but then I thought about what it would cost if I lost my phone on the hwy. It's worth it, and they are great.

Used the RAM mount to hold my marine band VHF radio on my boat. It works well.

In trying to figure out a good location on my motorcycle for my GoPro it became clear I needed more mounting options than what was supplied by GoPro. Between what Ram Mount pieces I already had and these new ones, the camera is now mounted in a good spot on the handlebars with a nice view of the road ahead, and the Ram Mount actually seems to reduce some of the inherent vibrations that are transferred through the handlebars.
