The RAM single swing arm mount consists of a 6" long BENT swing arm mounted on a horizontal surface mounting base. At the device mounting end of the mount is a rectangular 6.25" x 2" plate. There are two (2) pivoting points on the mount. One at the swing arm and base and one at the center of the rectangular plate and the end of the swing arm. Each pivoting point allows a complete 360 degree rotation.

The mount stays steady regardless of the boat’s movement- sold other boat and refitting different one- always use this mount for HELIX Humminbird units

Love this ram mount for my fish finder that unplaced on my kayak. But the top knob that faces up has an exposed screw area that is getting filled with dirt and grime. Should come with something that covers the hole. Also I wish that it came with stop nuts. I had to drill into my plate for the mount and needed stop nuts on the other side. Not a big deal but had to run out to hardware for them.

Super solid unit! Fast shipping! Love how sturdy this unit is! Holds the fish finder (Lowrance) really well. You will have to pick up screws for mounting this unit but a great buy!!!

I have two of these, one for an offset console unit and one on the bow. Both hold lowrance hds 9's with ease. worked perfect for my needs and I've put them through the test hitting big waves in big water.

This mount is very well made and has two locking position knobs for giving you many positions in which to view your fish finder. I highly recommend this mount. Doesn't compromise my Garmin 106 sv at all.

This mount is solid, more so than the ball and socket RAM mounts. If you’re running big water, this is what you need for those 10-12” graphs. I run two of these at the helm of my big tiller boat, and they do not budge unless you want them to.

The RAM Mounts Horizontal 6" Swing Arm Mount for Fishfinders & Chartplotters RAM-109HU is exactly what I needed for my boat. I have had many Ram mounts. Mostly the ball type with the centre knob style clamp, which are hard to keep tight an usually can't keep a large graph from falling in heavy seas. This unit is rock solid. !! Easy to position. Would recommend

I have one of these already on the helm of my boat but was finding it difficult to find one at a retail outlet. Glad Amazon had it as it's one of the most versatile and very sturdy mount. Ball mounts tend to have some movement when you're cruising across the water in waves but this one keeps everything in its place. Price is a bit higher than other mounts but well worth the money.

Excellent. Absolutely excellent. Holds my HDS 9 Gen 3 very solidly yet allows for easy, smooth adjustments. This thing is surprisingly well built, especially at its price point. The holes even lined up with the factory gimbal so I didn’t need to drill any more. The perfect console mount for a bass boat.Only con for me is the lack of a cable management option. I’d give 4.5 stars if I could for that reason, but didn’t feel it was enough of an issue to dock a full star. I ended up buying a 1 inch thick chunk of HDPE (Starboard) from that big auction site, cutting it to size, routing the edges for a finished look, then cutting a channel into it with a router. From there I had a base for cable management and a base to which the RAM mount is screwed down.For those wondering about what hardware to use to screw down the mount, I found that #12 x 1 inch stainless sheet metal screws (x4) hold it down nicely if -a nut-and-bolt combo isn’t an option in your setup. If you’re not familiar, don’t be put off by the “sheet metal” distinction. they have very coarse threads that bite well and don’t let loose easily. Clearly this is needed for sheet metal applications, but it works very well in wood, fiberglass, and even plastic as with my setup. The added advantage for me was that these screws weren’t so long as to go completely through the homemade cable manager I mentioned above.

This marine Ram Mount is a single 6” swing arm with a predrilled 6.25” x 2” x 3/16” rectangular mounting plate to attach your chart plotter/fish finder. This model 109H has a horizontal mounting base to attach to your boat. I used it to mount my Garmin 73sv and the predrilled holes lined up perfectly. The Ram Mount is heavy duty made from cast aluminum with a black matte baked on finish. The arm has two pivot points that can be rotated 360 degrees each. Each pivot point is controlled with a large knob that is easy to grasp and turn to loosen or tighten without any effort at all. When tightened in the position you desire the arm is securely locked and will not move even on very rough water. The unit does not come with any mounting screws which I do not consider a drawback because they do not know what you are attaching too. The installed unit not only does a good job it looks good too!
