Pot mounted candy thermometers have long been an issue for me not staying in place, this leads to inaccurate readings and potentially ruined products. So I bought this spatula with a thermometer built in. It works great but cleaning can be a but of a pain .

Trying to stir peanut brittle to 300 with a separate thermometer in the pan is tricky. This works perfectly! I found it to be accurate, easy to stir with and easy to clean. I also used just the probe to check a roast beef and it worked for that too. Only minor issue I have is that as the temp gets higher, the lines that make up the numbers that aren't supposed to be showing, start showing. They are lighter than the actual number and it depends on what angle you are looking at it, but they do start to show. However, for the price I paid, $17, NO complaints!

Seems to work well. I don’t know if it is accurate as I have no control measurement

I love this ! I will probably buy another one. I checked it with my old thermometer and it was very accurate. The handle never got hot. it is so easy to use. spatula and thermometer in one. It's a win win!

I absolutely love this product. This is the best kitchen gadget I have ever purchased. I've made homemade candy for over 30 years and I always had to clip at thermometer onto the edge of the pan and then try to stir knocking the thermometer off or not being able to get to the edge behind the thermometer. This spatula is priceless to me.

Ordered this digital thermometer/spatula for sugar making. Used twice. No issues the first time used. However, on the 2nd use the thermometer could not keep an accurate temperature and kept turning off while in use. Now it doesn't turn on at all and I can't even return it since I'm out of the return window timeframe. womp womp Not sure if what I received was faulty or not but I expected to get more than one successful use of the item. Disappointed and going back to my trusty clip on thermometer.

This works really well as I can stir my milk and not have to have another thermometer in the pot. I really like this product.

The thermometer is a great concept. However the silicone gets hot and when you have to stir 300 degree candy consistently for 15 minutes it creates a sore spot on the finger that wraps around the spatula. It is great that you are always getting the temperature of the candy and not the side or bottom of the pan as the thermometer is kept off the sides and bottom due to the silicone holder. It is easy to read if held at the right angle to avoid glare from the light. I will continue to use it as I prefer it's temperature accuracy over a regular candy thermometer but I will use a pot holder or something like it to hold it while stirring in the future.

Amazing idea! I made perfect Christmas candy with this thermometer and didn’t have to worry about scorching under the thermometer. It was perfectly accurate for my very finicky recipe. The digital display is so easy to read.

I have been trying to find a thermometer that is easy to read and doesn't get fogged up when you get up in the temperatures. I have only used this once but it was everything I was looking for, you can easily stir and see where the temperature is at.
