These silicone molds with built-in measuring lines make freezing a breeze. I have always used Tupperware containers, plastic bags, or glass jars to freeze soups, broths, or tomato sauce and I'm glad I found this product. It is so easy to load up and freeze whatever you want; pop it out of the mold and into the storage container of your choice. Very easy to clean. The built-in wire makes the product very sturdy and stackable. No more freezing in plastic or risking glass jars breaking during the freezing process. I highly recommend this product

These cubes are great! They are a great size for freezing soup. Easy to clean. Easy to freeze soup and pop out easily. They stack well in the freezer and hold the shape well. Highly recommend.

Ideal for freezing portions of soup in separate compartments. More expensive than some others but are flexible when removing frozen food and I feel are worth the extra money.

I absolutely love these. It’s such a good size. Very durable and high quality. The design is amazing for meal prep in the freezer. It’s easy to just pop in the dishwasher after use. Very functional to just make a big batch and freeze some so I don’t have to eat the same meal for a week and a half. I love this and could be tempted to order more even though the two pack is perfectly sufficient

The Souper Cubes are the best method of frozen food storage I have ever seen! The silicone is of excellent quality and there is an internal metal frame that prevents these trays from collapsing when filled, They can even be stacked upon each other when placing in the freezer. They completely hold their shape no matter what you put in them and when you stack them! Absolutely no sagging, drooping, or spilling trays!I have purchased the 2-cup. 1-cup. 1/2-cup trays and I love them! So far I have used the 2-cup trays for soups, casseroles, sauces, veggie stock, and mini meatloaves. I use the 1 cup Souper Cubes for soups, hummus, sauces. rice, and aquafaba. In the 1/2 cup Souper Cubes I freeze smaller portions for a side or when I just want a snack.Once frozen I pop them out and store them in 1 Gallon Freezer storage bags so I can reuse the Souper Cube trays. I had transferred to glass containers several years ago because I don't like freezing in plastic. Once I found these I am now switching over to this method. It's amazing how much freezer space is freed up, plus I have the perfect portion of whatever meal I'm in the mood for. No more eating leftovers for days on end! There was not any smell out of the box, just washed, let dry, and filled.TIPS:1. Don't overfill past the line or they won't all fit neatly into the 1-Gallon Freezer Bags.2. Cleaning the Souper Cubes couldn't be easier. I just rinse in hot soapy water.3. I've seen complaints from people who are unable to get their frozen food out of the Souper Cubes. Simply let your Souper Cube filled with food sit on the counter for a minute or two and it will pop out easily. If you can't wait, simply run the bottom under running warm water for 1-2 seconds.4. Don't pick up from the bottom unless frozen as the silicone is pliable. (If you skimmed over this one, you will learn the hard way :-)I really hesitated for a long time as they are pricey, but after taking the plunge I got what I paid for: A sturdy, quality product that I am thrilled to have in my batch cooking arsenal!

I previously owned lesser quality portioned silicone trays. Filling them frequently meant a mess over the counter, because they would collapse as I filled them. And, maddeningly, I was unable to stack them in the freezer because the weight of the second top tray would collapse the bottom tray. Since I don't have unlimited space in my freezer, this negated the entire reason for buying them, since I had to wait until one tray was fully frozen to place the second tray into the freezer. I do not have either problem with the Souper Cubes, at all!The Souper Cubes are wonderful! The silicone is of excellent quality and there is an internal metal frame that means these trays do not collapse when filled, nor when stacked upon each other when placing in the freezer. They completely hold their shape no matter what you put in them and when you stack them! Absolutely no sagging, drooping, or spilling trays!I have purchased the 2-cup and the 1-cup trays and I love them both, although I find I use the 2-cup trays most often. I have, so far, made soups (Cajun Chicken, Sausage with Wild Rice Soup, Spicy Bean with Bacon Soup and French Onion Soup), chili, spaghetti and meat sauce, and taco meat, then used my Souper Cubes to freeze and store them. I can either keep them in the Souper Cubes or drop them out, once frozen solid, into storage bags so I can reuse the Souper Cube trays.I find the 1-cup trays are great for those times I make too much of something, like sautéing up a whole onion and only needing half of it, or making too much wild rice or rice pilaf. It's great to be able to compactly freeze and store the leftovers, so a night I merely want to sauté a salmon fillet I can add rice pilaf (or whatever) as a side. And the next time I need sautéed onions I already have it. It's also good for small portions when I just want a snack.Cleaning the Souper Cubes couldn't be easier. I pop them into the dishwasher and they come out perfectly clean, without a sign of discoloring, even when I've stored tomato-based sauces for weeks in them. For those who have Instant Pots, you know that the silicone ring can take on a horrible smell. Well, the best way to prevent ANY smell to silicone, I've found, is to simply pop them into the dishwasher with Cascade Platinum. I don't know why, but it removes ALL smells from silicone. Case in point, I have an Instant Pot and only 1 silicone ring, and I cook constantly, yet no matter how stinky it goes into the dishwasher it comes out without a smell. Lessor dishwasher soaps don't do it. (In fact, I put the entire lid of my Instant Pot into the dishwasher so I don't have to hassle with taking the silicone ring out and putting it back; it works and leaves the lid sparkling clean and in perfect condition.)I've seen complaints from people who apparently do not know how ice cube trays work and are unable to get their frozen food out of the Souper Cubes. So a little primer here, simply let your Souper Cube filled with food sit on the counter for 15 seconds to 1 minute and it will pop out easily. If you can't wait, simply run the bottom under running warm water for 1-2 seconds.
