The Blue Rooster Company original design 36"x36" Front Round Premium Chiminea Pad. Designed as protection from a stray ember or ash from a wood burning chiminea, the fire-resistant pad is not fireproof. It will protect your deck area from a ember or burning log until it can be placed back in the fire. It will not protect your deck from direct heat or intense direct fire. Think of it as a fire suit for your deck. Resists up to 1800 F. for short periods of time. Not recommended for wood burning firepits, cast iron chimineas, short chimineas such as our Garden chiminea. Most Blue Rooster Company chiminea fireplaces and clay chimineas with stands can be placed directly on the pad.

Light weight and easy to position. It catches sparks and allows them to go out, as advertised. We had planned to put the chiminea on a raised platform of flagstone but this option is easier!The pad is worth the money.

The product is good. Although it needs a lip on the front to keep the hot coals from falling out. Could make the bottom grate a little smaller so it is recessed down a little.
