These have been great sleeves to help solder back together Christmas lights that have broken in the wind. They are a little longer than I need to fit between lights. I would rather cut a little off than not have enough length. I have used over half the bag and have had no failures.

Great for small diameter wire I use them to splice my 28 gauge wire I use on my train lighting for the buildings and other projects. And you get a lot to use for your projects.

It does what it’s supposed to, looks like a 50% shrink ratio so it will go as small as 22AWG, but it won’t grip it tight.

I bought this so that I can do my own wiring for my aftermarket radio. I wish that it were a bit longer so that you can safely cover some more wire when heating it up. I want there to be a good connection so I want to strip more wire but its just a bit too short. This is the first time im working with wiring but it went well. Works really though.

I'm using this on connections between LED connectors and 18AWG wire. The LED connectors are probably closer to 22AWG or 23AWG. Shrinks fine around the soldered areas. I'm using a heat gun set at about 550F and it shrinks quickly and securely. First time I've used heat shrink. I haven't seen any split/crack. Even had one area where I melted the casing off the wire near the heat shrink, but the heat shrink seems fine. It cools fairly hard, but that isn't an issue for me since the application is always for straight runs. It is a perfect length for my wire splicing project. Will buy again if my project demands it.
