I am new to the process of shrink wrapping and it was, to say the least, a learning curve. One I am still adjusting to. The 'gun' doesn't seem powerful enough to heat the plastic sufficiently to 'shrink', but it will do its job. It comes with a wide variety of sleeves, but they are, for the most part, heavier than I've seen used in shrinking processes. Overall? It will work, it will do the job, but I'd say if you are looking for a professional grade Tubing Kit, think twice on this one. If you are a novice or just need a simple tool to shrink wires and ensure that they are secure, then this won't disappoint. Again, not a pure professional tool, but certainly for entry and/or novice, it will work.

Bought one a year ago and it's worked great. Does not overheat even if left on for several minutes. The shrink tubing that is included is good quality also.

The product is not a stellar one, but most adequate. The heat gun is ,seemingly, a bit weaker as far as it's heat generation goes. But, I wrapped four major joints and they ended up looking very clean. I suspect I have gotten my money's worth from this product already. I see other uses futuristically. All-in-all, I would have to agree that this is a 5 star product for the level at which it was promoted to perform, and its price point. This tool is not fast, not super hot, but most adequate with some patience. As to supplies, there are only a few of the larger sleeves provided, but additional sleeves of varying sizes are also available online to supplement. Product delivery was on time and typical of Amazon's abilities. I have no reservations in recommending this tool, allowing for its limits.

I was going to need some more heatshrink tubing for an upcoming project. I also decided that it was time I bought a heat gun, as well (I've always used a lighter). In my search, I came across this nifty little kit. Has everything I needed, and much more! The heat gun is good to have. Much better and safer than the lighter method, and gives much more consistent results. The heatshrink tubing is very good quality. It's thicker and stronger than what I have purchased in the past. I LOVE that it has adhesive built in. My previous ones didn't. The adhesive give me that extra bit of security, knowing that it will have a tight, secure bond. I have now completed the project that this purchase was intended for, as well as two other projects, and I STILL have PLENTY of tubing left for future projects.
