I didn't use this as intended but they are great. Great shrink ratio. Just with ir came with more 3/4". Used them to make a nice water proof labels for my hand tools.

This is a good kit and was worth the price I paid. Used to repair and modify Some holiday lights and some t5 led wiring.Only thing to make it better would be more variety of sizes amd they were not very well sorted in the box.

I'm happy with this shrink tubing so far. It does seem to have a 3:1 shrink ratio. And it does have heat-activated adhesive because you can see a little bit ooze out the ends when you shrink the tubing with heat. I needed gasoline-resistant heat shrink tubing, although they do no claim such in the listing. Another reviewer said they used it in a fuel tank application, so I figured I'd give it a try. I have a piece soaking in gasoline and it seems to be holding up OK after a couple of weeks.

How did the factory put so many shrink tubes in this container?! It is just stuffed! My original purchase was to add aglets to the shorten laces on my hiking shoes. I already had black shrink tube but that would not look very good. It seemed crazy to purchase a whole box of tubes but for just one small project...but I am glad I did. A small section of tubing was strung onto the laces, shrunk then cut the lace and tubing at the same time. It looks nice plus the adhesive will keep on attached even during the toughest hikes. Bonus: This past weekend I used the largest diameter tubing to cover 120vac electrical connections. The 3:1 shrink rate allowed the tube to slide over the splice but then completely shrink down around wires...plus the adhesive makes it secure and waterproof...plus the clear material allows for anyone to inspect the solid electrical connection...rather than guess what mysteries might be under the usual black tubing. I am certain I will find even more uses for these nice heat shrink tubes.

I used this to stabilize the old brittle cloth and rubber insulation in the electrical boxes in my home. The piece of mind is incalculable. It's super easy to use, feels at least as thick/durable as factory wire insulation and it shrinks MORE than 3:1 in diameter without loosing ANY length at the low setting of my heat gun.To address 3 complaints I saw in negative reviews; It does shrink MORE than 3:1. Remeber it contains an interior adhesive layer AND when you shrink the plastic, it doesnt magically dissapear, it collapses on itself, getting thicker... so while the OD (outside diameter) may not appear to do so in one posted image, the ID (inside diameter) which is what matters, shrinks more than 3:1. The 1/4" will shrink tight over a single bare 12 guage wire. The other complaint I noticed was about the case. The case I got is very good quality, of flexible durable and clear plastic with hinged plastic locks (not just fold tabs, I hate fold tab locks) and a hang tab for store display that works great on peg boards. I'm a freak about tool room storage. I dont have a single jar of screws.. everything is separated labeled, i probably spend as much on storage solutions as I do on tools. I'm not even the least bit tempted to replace it. The only issue is that it comes with 8 sizes of sleeve in a container that has 4 compartments, but that's really nitpicking. The last reason I saw for negative reviews was they are too long. This is never a bad thing. It's easy to trim with a scissor to any size you need. Too short and you're out of luck..Too long? Not a problem. Cut what you need and save the rest of the next time.

I used the smallest shrink wrap in this pack for some slot car soldering. I pointed the heat gun at it and it shrunk by maybe 20%, eg not enough to insulate my wire in a manner I deem satisfactory for this kind of project. I cannot say anything for other use cases, but I do not recommend this product for hobby use. Now, this is listed as a waterproofing wrap, and I did notice a resin-like substance ooze out of both ends of the wrap when applying the heat gun. If whatever this is actually waterproofing material I would guess that it works as advertised? It did make the wire a little stiff, as mentioned in other reviews.
