This is in great shape, used minimally and in the original packaging. The alternative power cable, needed for older model Xboxes, is not included. However, all Xboxes made in the last several years do not require this power cable, and you should be fine.

Could not get it to work. Checked via PC, no image transmitted. Motion sensor detecting.

There is NO POWER CORD!With a product description that specifically states “Includes original AC/Power Adapter cord” and “Please refer to pictures to see what is included in the listing, as well as, the items physical condition.”, and a picture that clearly shows a power adapter, I took a chance on this despite the description stating “XBOX 360 Microsoft Kinect Sensor Bar Only Black 1414 Wired Motion Sensor Camera” due to figuring that the description was correct. It IS NOT.The product also had a few scratches and scuffs, which the generic picture does not show.Despite all of this, the product does function properly.I suggest poster write a correct and non false product description.

Works great! I bought it used, but it works as if it's new. I can't believe I went so long without one of these, because instead of just sitting down using a game controller, playing games with this makes you get up and move (and keep moving). Definitely getting much more exercise and it makes game play much more fun. It also makes chatting with friends easier because there is no need for a headset with this kinect.

I bought and adapter to use this with my PC. It works well with Glovepie and other applications to detect my movements and translate them to key presses. I actually use it to initiate actions in certain games with great success like GTA IV. For instance, i put my left arm out to my side to steal a Car or i can use my left and right hand for punching. There is also standing position settings like Kicking. crouching, or leaning. It does not detect head tracking movement but I've figured out other solutions for that. I use it in conjunction with a Wii Remote in a gun attachment for aiming. I can track my hand for aiming but currently it isn't very stable with the software i'm using even though it is accurate. I also use the move navigation controller and none of the devices affect the Kinect's ability to detect my premaped gestures.

I got this to program with OpenNI. You will need the special adaptor for it if you plan on hooking it up to a linux box or PC. They can be found here for less than $10. Now that Apple has bought up the company that created the chip, I'm worried about the long term accessibility of this kit and how well supported OpenNI will be in the long haul.

I purchased this used. It was in good shape with minor scratches. However, it only came with the USB cord that connects directly into the Xbox 360 SLIM. I had the old (white) Xbox 360 console and was disappointed to find out that you need to have the Kinect Adapter for it for work on the old console.

I ordered from EZcorp. The sensor worked great. I've always wanted a kinect. The problem is, there was a problem with the microphones. The kinect would not pick up any sound. So beware getting a kinect used. I also have heard that the kinect has horrible microphones anyway in which you have to shout to be heard. I recommend you get a wired or wireless xbox 360 headset with microphone if you want to play kinect and be heard.

The Kinect is a fun device, however if you do not have plenty of room in your playing space it becomes a challenge. If you can get the right angle to work, this is a fun device to have in your home for you and your family.

I didn't purchase this Kinect sensor to use on my Xbox 360 like most people here. I purchased this sensor to use with the Microsoft SDK on PC. The Kinect sensor is a great tool to use for 3D scanning. It will never compete with scanners on the market that cost hundred's or even thousands of dollars but it gets the job done.
