Good product I like that it’s solid wood. I needed to shave down a little cause I like mine low profile and now it’s perfect. The plastic ones you can’t do that with out compromising the structure. Plus they look good.

Perfect add on for a recent bass guitar I bought. I was able to use on of the screw holes from the pick guard so I only had to drill one hole. The color matches my fretboard perfectly.

Because of my specific bass, I needed to drill/dremmel out a little bit, to go over a screw, nbd. This wood has a unique smell, when drilling!

Unevenly stained, but ok-ish. I sanded them a bit and stained them match my Ibanez SR1345B. Being wood, they look quality rather than how the cheap plastics look. No complaints.

I did not know what to expect, but very pleased with this item. I have a small Ibanez bass, and I thought I would start by placing it with double sided tape and I got it positioned in the right place for me. Fortunately, the tape held and I did not even have to use the screws. So far, perfect and matches the body of the bass.

They're made from a nice dense tropical hardwood, which to me is a plus. The finish of the wood as it arrives is decent and it will improve over time, as wood does. The only negative is that the location of the screw holes in the second piece (unmounted) is asymmetrical - the drill press operator was more than a bit sloppy at that moment.I have a nice thumbrest on my other bass and I've been wanting one for this instrument for a while. Now I'm complete.

I installed these on my Ibanez bass guitar. I actually glued it using Superglue, rather than drilling holes in my bass (because my drilling skills aren't too good). It works fine. Provides a sturdy thumbrest.
