These are good quality but are just too small for what I wanted to use them for. I wound up using one bulb section from a string light.

I wired these to a transformer to show if my garage doors are open. Installed in the bedroom. Never go to sleep with a door open again. Bright enough to notice.

I got a package of these lights that had one red, and one green. I used the green one for my current project. It is exactly what I was hoping for. The light is not insanely bright like some LED lights, but it is clearly visible that it is illuminated. Mounting is simple. I think I drilled a 1/4" hole for it, and the threaded part of the body is long enough to permit it to be installed in reasonably thick material. The light has a good, solid feel to it, and it seems that it will resist damage well, although I am not using it in an area prone to damage. The lead wires are decently long - about 5" I think, although I didn't measure them -- and they have a good strain relief where they enter the body of the light. I can think of nothing negative at all to say about these lights. They appear to be high quality products.

These are very high quality indicator lamps. The brushed stainless steel bezel is very nicely made, and the whole unit is well put together. The lens is a very nice shade of jade green, it is not immediately obvious is the LED is green or if it is a white LED with green lens. The color is certainly nicer than your standard green LED.These can operate at low volage, but I will say that at the lower end (about 5 volts) it's not super bright. At about 12 volts, it's plenty bright enough to see, unless in direct sunlight. I couldn't test at higher voltage than about 24 volts, but it got quite a bit brighter. I would guess from the current chart that it probably tops out at around 30 volts, but I'm no electrical engineer.

Easy to install. It was nice these were weather tight, since I had to use them outdoor.

I think I looked at every indicator light at Amazon before I finally kind of stumbled on to this one. This is the only light I saw that has a curved lens that I (correctly) assumed would diffuse in such a way as to emit a soft glow rather than the floodlight blast I was seeing in the photos of the other flat lens style lights. I am using this for a DIY AV Receiver cooling fan and I certainly don’t want to be bathed in blue light when trying to watch movies in a darkened room. It is bright enough to be perfectly visible when the lights are on, but also subdued enough to not be a distraction when the lights are off. It looks and feels very well-built and is perfect for my needs.A couple of things to note: the listing refers to these as AC/DC, which means they are designed to work regardless of the polarity. I still treated the red as positive and the black as negative when I wired it up, but it worked the same when I reversed those connections. Also, be mindful of the mounting depth. I used 1/4-inch MDF for my project and there were just enough threads showing to tighten the mounting nut down properly. Any material thicker than that is probably a no-go with the nut, but it could be mounted with hot glue.

Didn't use them after all. You could hardly tell if their were on during the day. Seem to be well made just couldn't use them in my application. Which was adding blinker light on each side of my tachometer. So I don't have to look down on my gas tank on my motorcycle.
