I got a 30mm and a 35mm. The 35mm works ok but the 30mm is a tighter fit initially and so doesn't need to shrink as much.Be sure you slide it over the skinny end of the cue first and then slide it down to your desired position.Use a real heat gun to shrink this stuff. A hair dryer isn't going to cut it and a butane torch will very likely damage the cue. Even with the heat gun, take your time and don't apply it for more than 2 or 3 seconds at a time.Very happy with the result, gives me a good grip on the cue. Recommended.

Had to do something about the deteriorating cork on my Lamiglas rod so I decided to try the shrink wrap. It worked great, but there a few things to keep on mind:I ordered the size that would slide over the foam portions and I ordered the one slightly larger, but it was too large. Went over the foam and shrunk down nicely using a heat gun set at 600 degrees. In the future I will order a slightly smaller size because the material is slightly stretchy and will pull over foam Grips with a bit of coaxing. It does not shrink much in length, so cut it maybe 1/8th of an inch longer than the part you want to cover.Rotate the rod so that the material is heated evenly, work from bottom to the top that will give you a chance to adjust it before it cools and sets.

I use this to cover the foam wrap on my jump cue. It worked great and looks better than the original

Pretty good product overall, but compared to the accucull stuff that I have used before, it shrinks in length as well as shrinks in diameter. So when you cut your piece leave at least a half inch on each end. It is pretty affordable in comparison to accucull which is 24" of material for $12.99 vs this product is 40" for $10 I think. I got the 30mm which was pretty perfect for standard spinning and cast rods.Edit....the second batch I received does not shrink in length.....so I guess it's a crap shoot whether to cut extra length or not. 🤷♂️

Not terrible. You get a good amount of tubing for the price. I got the 30mm which is probably the best for most freshwater full grip rods. I would go down to 25mm for most split grip rods. I managed to get it to fit on the smaller sections, but do wish it was a little tighter.

I recently bought two used Penn Long Beach fishing rods for a great price. the rods and guides were in great shape but the foam grips had deteriorated. This heat shrink wrap solved the problem perfectly. I was able to do both rods with one 40" length of wrap. The new grips look and feel good.I started by using a professional hair dryer that gets very hot. I just did a small section and it worked but not that well and it took a long time. I used a heat gun for the remainder of the job and that worked much, much better. The existing grips are 30mm so I ordered the 35mm wrap and it worked perfectly. It was easy to slide on and it shrunk nice and tight onto the grips. While the wrap will shrink up to 50% of it's original size, I did NOT find that the length changed at all.
