I heated with a heat gun and basically zero shrinkage. Not sure what I received, but it sure isn't "heat shrink"!

I labeled some water ball valve handles and put these shrink tubings over the handle and shrunk them. It works fine.

Does exactly what it should do.Might be a strange application but I put up a new oak stair rail but because it is winter I can’t stain or varnish it right now (don’t want the smell in the house).I still needed the rail up for safety reasons so I wanted to protect the wood from dirt, grime, and skin oils. This was the perfect solution

Muy buen material, vaya que protege! reduce muy bien y es de buena transparencia, conseguí una mini pisotla de calor para reducirlo porque con encendedor no queda bien. Más que contento. Recomendable

There was no size marking on the package, so you don't know if it the size you ordered.Received product was at least 2 sizes to big. Quality of the product was good and worked well, just the wrong size.

I ordered 40mm size and received a flat roll of shrink wrap 65mm wide. This was way too big for my project I put the wrap on a bottle that measured 40mm Dia. It was a bit loose. My project is rectangular 25mm wide x 10mm high = 70mm total length / 3.14 = 22.3mm diameter.I reordered product at 25mm.This is not the companies fault. Hope this helps you pick the right size for your square project.

Purchased to make salt water fishing lures. Works well, shrink keeps hooks on jigs as needed.

This product certainly delivers what is promised. Though translucent, any item covered by the tubing is clearly visible under the shrink. The product comes in a resealable ziplock bag, and can be cut to length with any decent shears or reasonably sharp knife. The tube is 2 inch (51mm) diameter, and shrinks to almost exactly 1 inch (25.4mm). Post shrink wall thickness is 0.046 inch (1.2mm), and fairly scratch resistant. I repeatedly scraped the surface with a sharp edge 90 and only saw minimal effect. Good product. +++++

I received a 50mm/2" roll on October 2020. I cut 3" from the end of the roll; the end of the roll "as shipped" seemed slightly shrunk. And yet..... it still slid freely down to a spot on a tapered glass bottle that my calipers measured as 2.09".When I shrunk it on an clear empty plastic bottle it sealed down airtight pushing out all air bubbles from between the bottle and shrink tube. A few minutes later it seemed to have relaxed but I figured out that the air INSIDE the plastic bottle (with lid sealed tight) had expanded. When I reheated it with the lid off it the heat shrink tube shrank more but did not collapse the thin plastic bottle. What this tells me is that it is quite capable of making a complete weatherseal if you use a heat gun or hair dryer on high AS LONG AS it is on smooth surfaces. If you need a weather seal on a rougher surface I'd suggest a 3:1 shrink tube AND maybe even adding little pieces of hot melt glue. I'd practice with the hot glue pieces; you don't need near as much as you'd think. Hot glue inside needs to heat and the shrink tube insulated heat a bit so a slower heat source is required.None of this will work very well if you are using a flame to heat the tube.
