- How to use it?
- 1. First choose the right size tubes, as it is 2:1 heat shrink ratio, and will shrink up to 1/2 of original diameter.
- 2. Wrap the cable wire with the tube, then use a heat gun heating until the wire was wrapped tightly.
- 3. Don't touch the tube until it becomes cool.

Using in automotive audio and I didnt even use a heat gun. Just a common lighter. Shrunk up tight. Make sure you dont have jaggies on your finished wires though. They'll poke right through. But thats on all shrink wrap.

The product is good but way to many small ones that I will never use they should make a packages up with individual sizes or two different sizes of the most popular like 1/4 “ and 3/8”

This is a nicely put together product. It is cost effective. My only complaint is that I likely won't use most of the smaller size tubing due to the nature of my projects.

Honestly not sure what I could ever use the dinky ones for, but if you go along the top row to the 3rd one, then go down 1, that’s what I’ve been using on connectors for 16 gauge wire with female/male adapters on the end. That size slides right over the adapter I crimp on.Then there’s the top row 2nd one, go down 1. Used that one on a few smaller gauge wires like 12 and 16 gauge just connecting 2 wires. Not sure what I could ever use the smaller ones for and it seems like a waste for me to even have them, but as you may know by looking at various heat shrink tubing... almost none have detail as to what they fit in real world scenarios. Just various sizes, and the smaller ones seem to get the most quantity.Anyways, I wired up a few connectors and wires recently for a project for my car and this kit came in handy. After heat is applied they all come off as clean and mold to the shape underneath. I don’t see any adhesion that activates once heated up on the inside of these like the more expensive store brands, but I didn’t need that as a feature as my projects didn’t need these at all and were more so OCD related reasons to clean it up. I like them tho. If I run out of the ones I need, I’ll just re-order this kit for those sizes as the quality is what I need for the best value I could find!
