Physical therapist recommended I buy this type of product. This one was very reasonably priced. It arrived quickly and was well made. I had a really hard time of figuring out how to inflate it. The Velcro straps were oddly placed, in my opinion. But once I figured it all out, it worked fine.

As a physical therapist, I prescribe and utilize cervical traction devices routinely. Unfortunately, I do not find this device comparable to other traction devices in comfort or effect.From a positive aspect, it is easy to use, made of comfortable material, and does not leak air. However, the downside exceeds the positives.Primarily, rather than feeling a neck stretching sensation, it just seems to apply a pressure along the jaw lines and top of the shoulders w/ added inflation. I attempted to adjust the position, straps, and amount of air pressure, but I could not obtain a good stretch sensation in the neck itself.Second, if you’re claustrophobic, this will likely not be for you. It may look like a neck hug, but it feels more like a neck brace.Lastly, one of the advertised indications to use this device was disc and/or nerve issues in the neck. As a therapy provider, due to a non-specific stretch, arbitrary pressure, and potential for over-inflation, this would not be recommended.As an appropriate traction device, this product misses the mark. Alternatively, perhaps it can be used as an adjustable travel neck pillow.

I had high hopes for this neck traction device, but it just didn’t deliver. The fit was awkward, and I didn’t feel any real relief. It was uncomfortable to wear for long periods, and I found myself taking it off sooner than I’d like.
