Clamp is nice, fits handlebars & crash bar on my softail fine. Stays in place. Swivel function works ok too. Definitely NOT for open containers, found that out the hard way when I had to clean myself and half my bike covered in energy drink. Regular size cans or 16oz & 20oz bottles don't fit securely without the included koozie, but if you do use it the drink is wedged in and hard to remove one handed. I ended up modifying it with a rubber cupholder insert meant for some chevy SUV's (asin# B099PNCQ9W) cut to size then glued/screwed in place. Imo this is how it should be designed in the first place, with a rubber insert like this. Much more versatile and secure now. In retrospect, I would definitely buy one of the other options on the market instead.

Thought I’d mount this to the lap bar of my zero turn mower to keep my “beverage” from spilling and getting shaken up. Not very impressed. Did ok for about the first 2 hours. Then the swiveling affect of the hinges slowed down. So basically it turned into another stationary cup holder. I’m guessing the dust from mowing was to blame. If you’re looking to use in a dusty location, I say keep looking.

It was easy to install on the handlebar of my Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager. The clamp-style attachment is sturdy and secure and allows attachment when needed. Many days, I won't need a bottle in reach, so it will go in my panniers. However, do not use it for super-large water bottles, as the included foam insert is too small to fit them, and the water bottle will bounce around in the holder without it.I used it on a one-day ride through hot Socal water, and it worked perfectly for me.

I mounted this cup holder on the saddle bag guard of my Road Glide and it’s within easy reach, inconspicuous, and sturdy. I use it on long trips, but it’s super easy to remove when I don’t want/need. I’ve travelled 3000km with it so far an no issues.

This holder works great for cans and smaller bottles with the supplied foam koozie. 24oz Yeti or similar insulated cups also fit well. 32oz will sit in the holder but will not be steady enough in my opinion.

Holds on to my bike going...the legal speed limit...with no issues. The gyroscope is pretty nice so it doesn't matter where you mount it or how. The coozy it comes with keeps things nice and secure.

I've been highly impressed with this cup holder. While I had high expectations to begin with since its a RAM mount product, it has easily exceeded them. I clip this cup holder to the seat in my kayak and it's perfectly held my beer in a floating coozie since I installed it a couple months back. Works perfect with the high seating position in my Jackson Kayak Tripper II. I couldn't ask for any better performance. While I've only had it for a couple months, it appears to be extremely durable. RAM created the perfect cup holder

I really want to give this 4 1/2 stars instead of 5. Tell you later. First, I really like this cup holder. I am not trying to put in some large, tall iced drink that would slosh around and probably fall out. To me, this is meant for a can of your favorite beverage put into a foam coozie. You can clip it on a bar of your quad rack or in my case, I clip it onto one of the rubber forks that hold a rifle. I've tried other swinging beverage holders in the past, ones that you can buy to mount to a boat, etc, and rigged them onto my quad. But they never last long and break. I bought this one last summer and so far it's been great. It is very sturdy and really "goes with the flow", balancing itself as you ride. I do not expect to be able to go out and go over all kinds of bumps or rocks and not have anything spill. That is unrealistic. You can ride down a dirt road with some jostling and it rides well. If I don't want to have dust or bugs get in, I use one of those plastic lids that fit on any aluminum can, snap it on, and it has a flip up opening to take a drink out of then close it again. OK, the reason it deserves 4 1/2 stars is the fact that whatever braniac with the company decided it would be a good idea to put in a foam coozie WITHOUT a bottom! If you put your can in there and lift it up, the can, especially the slimmer ones, would slide right out! I couldn't believe it when I saw it! So that went in the trash and I put my own in there. Other than that, this is the best drink holder I've found anywhere! I love it!
