Excellent workmanship, heavy thick steel, with nice powder coating finish. The design is extremely functional to protect my trailer from theft.

This locking device fit our jayco 197mb camper perfectly, not overly impressed with the puck lock and will be changing it out for a mul-t-lock which are about $150+ buy them selves, but i didnt buy this for the puck lock its self. The collar accepts the safety chains too keeping them from being used to pull your trailer away. So as a whole it is worth the price. Make sure to verify the trailer ball size and style to make sure you get the correct collar to fit as intended.

I do think this is an impressive looking tongue lock. It offers the appearance of security, but I think the locking mechanism is junk. The key is questionable, and I am not sure you couldn't take a hammer and just knock the puck lock off.Pros: This mechanism is substantial. It should stop the common back up, hook up and drive off thief. It seems to be secure once engaged. It comes with three keys.Cons: It is heavy, and that is to be expected, but its weight makes it a bit harder to get on. You have to line up the back of the cover to get it to slide over the piece that engages the ball latch. If you carry this device while traveling expect to place it somewhere where bouncing on rough roads won't cause damage, it is not a one hand pick it up and go locking mechanism (for most people).Further, the puck lock, though easy to install, is hard to get the key in from the bottom (I thought I was going to have to lie down on the ground to get the key in the lock). That makes it harder to remove when you need to hook on to the tow vehicle. Further, I do not like the design of the key, it is just cheap looking.I think you could toss the puck lock and use a standard heavy duty lock you trust, and that would allow you to access the key or combination without potentially laying on the ground. There are tradeoffs, as most any lock can be removed by a person with knowledge.Overall, the lock fits my travel trailer, it works, and I don't think it can be removed without some effort. It is a good option that should be considered if looking for theft deterrents.

The lock mechanism fit perfectly on my Grand Design travel trailer. The safety chains have large hooks and are a little tight to get them into place, at the center of the lock plate, which adds to security by making the barrel fit snuggly onto the lock plate. The key is curve and looks difficult to impossible to pick. It looks like a difficult lock to circumvent. Now, if someone wants to steal your trailer they are going to take it. Sir they could drill out the lock cylinder, the could hook chains to the tongue and drag it off. But why go through all that work when most other trailers that have lock that are easier to remove.

Very disappointed with this product. Keys did not work and cylinder lock was very loose. I had high hopes but can tell this product is made in china.
