This was a great fit for my motorcycle you just have to open the whole up a little if you are mounting it to a 04-07 Cbr1000rr.

I use this in my 4runner for a phone mount. I put a decent amount of force on it when putting a phone into a spring-loaded holder, and the arm attached to it holds firmly. No bending or any sign of failure.
