Designed for Tractive GPS Cat Mini

So far I have only used 1 of these (to replace the 1 that broke that came with our Tractive). It was a perfect size replacement, works great, light weight and appears to be durable. Good for the price.

I’ve purchased these plastic holders multiple times now, but unfortunately, I keep running into the same issue: they break quite easily. While they do work well with the Tractiv tracker and hold it securely in place, the problem arises when you need to remove the tracker every so often. The constant pulling and putting the tracker back in the holder causes the hard plastic to eventually snap. This has happened to me several times, which is really frustrating.After dealing with the breakage, I’ve had to switch to using the silicone holder instead, which, although more flexible, seems to hold up better over time. It’s unfortunate because, in terms of fit and functionality, the plastic holders do their job well, but the durability just isn’t there. If you don’t mind replacing them frequently or want a more temporary solution, these could work, but personally, I wouldn’t recommend them due to how easily they break.

I have been using this product for a while. I've had no problems with it. It is staying just as tight and secure as the first day I got it. It's not wearing out, it's not giving, it's wonderful. Snaps in and out tightly I've never had any problems with the tracker ever falling out. Even the velcro has held strong I've removed it to wash the collar and placed it back on with no problems. I definitely feel confident that it will never come off and the tracker will not fall out. She is a very active dog constantly running and jumping this is a great product!

If you have an outdoor cat, like me, and you bought the Tractive Cat Mini GPS, the kit provided you with two options to secure the GPS to the Rogz collar included; a rubber mount, and a clip mount.I'll just say this: NEITHER of these clips really secure the GPS completely to the collar; each has design flaws in terms of security & robustness. If your outdoor cat plays around the neighborhood with other cats, or gets into any fights with other animals, forget it; it can very easily get knocked out of the clip (this has happened 3 times to me), and, with the rubber mount, sharp claws can just slice through the rubber like butter, creating enough of a lag that the tracker just...falls out (this has also happened 3 times to me). I purchased these as replacements for the original rubber mount that tore, since I felt these were more secure & created less friction than the hard clip against a cat's tiny neck. Within days, however, both of these mounts had lost the tracker, as my cat would return with punctures & tears in the rubber.PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION: With a little finessing, it's possible to fit the hard clip mount inside the rubber mount & then slide the collar on in-between the gaps. The clip mount keeps the tracker secure, while the rubber mount ensures that if the clip DOES pop (highly unlikely, since it is such a snug fit), it's still firmly within the rubber mount, holding it in place. This has been, quite literally, the ONLY WAY I have been able to ensure that he does not lose the tracker with one mount or the other. It doesn't help that I have serious social anxiety problems & having to walk into a neighbors yard down the street that I don't know, knock on their door to explain my idiot cat threw his GPS tracker around their yard, "could I look for a moment please?" has invariably already created some problems. If you have the same problem, try snuggling the clip within the rubber mount, then securing it to the collar; that should solve your problem.

These clips look flimsy, but they hold great! I was worried that the tracker would come in attached. My cat pulled the collar off many times, but the tracker stayed intact. I like this better than the rubber cover. The rub cover kept splitting. I highly recommend it.
